This Thiruneri Madram was formed 15 years back, by people who frequently visit the Karpagavinayagar koil in East Tambaram. The president of this Mandram is Lalkudi C Vedanarayanan. Secretary is P Natarajan (East Tambaram). Treasurer is S Santhalingam (East Tambaram). This mandram arranges Othuvar program every third Sunday. It also arranges tour to varuious temples for the devotees of this temple.

The monthly Othuvar program for the month of August was held on 16th August,Sunday,2015 between 4.15 and 6.00pm. Thirumathy Akila from Tiruchi gave a very good performance. Thevaram was recited in traditional manner. Each one present enjoyed it. They almost sung together. Of course there was a few choices from the audience especially Sudarar thevaram and Thiruvasagam. Finally the audience requested for Kanthimathi ammai pillathamil. On the whole every one enjoyed the program.
