This Thiruneri Madram was formed 15 years back, by people who frequently visit the Karpagavinayagar koil in East Tambaram. The president of this Mandram is Lalkudi C Vedanarayanan. Secretary is P Natarajan (East Tambaram). Treasurer is S Santhalingam (East Tambaram). This mandram arranges Othuvar program every third Sunday. It also arranges tour to varuious temples for the devotees of this temple.

Othuvar viza 2018
This year Othuvar viza was held on 28th January,2018. There were about 12 othuvars and devotees of East Tambaram took part in the viza. As usual at 9 AM everybody gathered in Sri Karpagavinayagar koil after Thevaram recitation Panniru Thirumurai and Nalvar were taken around the temple and surrounding. After that they gathered in the Thiruvasagam Illam for a one and half hour thevaram singing. Then there was Maheswara poosai. After that each othuvar was honoured and presented with dhothi and towel. The viza ended around 2.30pm.
