Today  morning at 5.30 Aruthra dharsanam was seen by many devotees of Karpagavinayagar koil .Koothapiran with Annai Sivagami went round the mada veethi.. Ther e is no rain during that time .

Othuvar programme in Tambaram

Trimonthly program of othuvar was held yesterday 16th December,2018.
Karpagavinayagar koil asthan othuvar sivathiru Kutrlam Subramanian. He gave a splendid performance for two hours. 4-6 pm. When reiciting the Appar thirunerisai  Karucutranal muthalaga the othuvar was deeply involved and  tears were running  from his eyes.

Vinayagachathurthy viza

The Vinayagachathurthy viza was celebrated  on 13th September,2018, with usual enthusiasm. The  Karapavinayagar temple was decorated and given a new look.

Purattasi Natarajar abishekam

One of the 6 Natarajar abishekams for Natarajar was held today evening. It started around 6 in the evening and ended at 7 pm. A lot of devotees witness the function.

 Milk ,curd,viboothy and sandal abishekams were done.

Vaikasi visakam on 28th may 2018

We celberateded   Vaikasi visakam  in our temple. Morning the abishekam was performformed for moolavar and urchavar. Evening  Urchavar  Murugar along with Deivasena and Valli went round the chinna mada veethi around 6.30 pm. Here are some photographs.

Appar guru poosai 9-5-2018

Thirunavukkarasar guru poosai viza was celeberated today (th may 2018). Thirunavukarasu swamigal urchava moorthy was taken round the veethi. On retruning to the temple urchavar was kept in front of the moolavar. The story of Thirunavukarasu swamigal was read by the thiruneri mandram secrectary Thiru Natarajan. After the story the Mukthi pathikam was sung by all. After that karpooram was lit between  the urchavar and moolavar (Sivan). Then appar urchavar was taken in side the moolavar and the door was closed . This is to indicatethat  Appar attained the feet of Sivaperuman, mukthi.

Thirunvukrasu swamigal going round the veethi. Thirunvukkarasu swamigal urchavar is kept in front of the moolavar.

After the story is read  and the mukthi pathikam is sung by all. Karpooram is lit in between the urchavar and  moolavar indicating the soul goes to the Moolavar in the temple.

The appar swamigal urchavar is beeing taken to the  Moolavar (Sivan).

Indicating the ikkiam of appar the door is closed.

Thirunavukkarasu swamigal attained mukthi on this day ,chithirai sathayam.

Chithirai Bharani- Amuthu padayal in Chengattangudi

The story of Chiruthondar is known to everybody, but the amuthupadayal is celberated as a ceremony in Thiruchengattangudi on every Chithirai Bharani 17th April, 2018. some members of the Karpagavinayagar thiruneri madram went for that ceremony. On 16th night Theruvadadaichan chapparam went round the veethi. Panja moorthikal were there in side, the greatness of this chaparam is that the height is more around 50ft.

Next day evening Uthrapatheeeswarar comes to  Chiruthondar's house. That was around 5.30 pm. The urchavars  Venkattu nangai and  santhanathathi receives 

 Him, as Chiruthondar has gone in search of a Sivanadiyar. The periyapuranam is recited by a Gurukkal upto the portion where He says  He will not  enter the house where the ladies are alone. He says He will wait in the Ganpatheecharam, under the Athi tree. Chiruthondar comes back to his hoouse and was informed about the Bairavar and he goes to the Temple for inviting the Sivanadiyar.

When Uthrapaheeswara comes back to Chiruthondar 's house. Thevaram sung by Othuvars. (12pm)

 Chiruthondar house , the adukkalai (kitchen) wehre  the pillaikari is cooked  (by simulation) . during this time all the Urchavars ( Uthraptheeswarar, Chiruthondar ,his wife  son and the servant maid are kept inseide the kitchen and the door is closed with one Gurukkal inside. 

Outside again the Periyapuranam is recited . At the end Uthrapatheeswarar just goes back without any  noise. This time it happened at 5 in the morning and after an hour Ganpatheeswarar is seen on the vidai with Amman and Murugar. Somaskanthar appears  before chiruthondar family.  The function comes to an end. Swamy Somaskanthar  goes round the veethi.

  Cholavarm  chettiar madam is adjacent to  chiruthondar's house.  Many people do Sivapoosai there.
